Regional Sales Manager

We need an energetic Mid-South Regional Sales Manager to oversee the sales activity of our hospitality and commercial flooring underlayment products.  Specifically, we want to target new and existing business in: Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.  There will be a heavy concentration of time in the major markets throughout Texas so the successful candidate will need to live in one of the major Texas markets, or be willing to relocate.

 

You will get to manage existing key relationships, develop new customers, and manage sales representatives and A&D specifiers within the region. We are expecting huge growth potential in this market, so developing relationships with FF&E buyers and the A&D community is a must.  Plus, you will get a chance to do a little travel (about 40-50%).

 

What will you be doing?

  • Targeting growth opportunities and achieving regional sales goals
  • Providing strategic guidance to sales agents/ representatives within the region
  • Travelling with distributor sales reps to support Tred-MOR product usage and drive specification
  • Monitoring overall sales performance within the region
  • Distributing and managing qualified leads sent from inside sales and reporting progress through CRM
  • Presentation of product attributes to architectural and interior design groups
  • Establishing new commercial business opportunities through developing relationships with commercial flooring contractors and wholesale distributors

 

What are we looking for?

  • A minimum of 5 years prior sales / sales management experience
  • Current experience in the commercial or hospitality flooring industry
  • Proficiency in technical sales presentations to professional specifiers, architects and interior designers
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience using MS Dynamics 365 CRM a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study is desired

 

We are looking for a leader with a proven sales track record. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate, through references and work samples, the ability to work effectively with employees and managers at all levels of the organization and be a proven problem solver. Salary is commensurate with experience and annual bonus paid on attainment of projected EBIT and KPI’s.
