Leggett & Platt’s Creative Services department – our internal media agency – is looking for a full-time Web Developer.

What you will primarily do

  • Work as part of a team with designers, project managers, copywriters, and account representatives. At times, you will have individual project responsibilities.
  • Structure and update databases, write logic to support our CMSs, and integrate a variety of other systems.
  • Write, test, and debug performant ASP.Net/MVC code in C# and have some exposure to responsive front-end development.
  • Analyze and manipulate project data; research new technologies and services.
  • Complete updates for existing sites ranging from copy edits to new functionality.
  • Participate in daily and bi-weekly meetings related to Agile development to meet work commitments and improve the team.


What you’ll need to qualify

  • Experience with the Microsoft development stack
  • Experience building responsive websites with HTML/CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript
  • Experience with, LINQ, code-first and database-first implementations with Entity Framework, Microsoft SQL Server, TSQL, and SQL Profiler
  • Experience with .net 4.5+, MVC5, C#/WebAPI, SASS, Bootstrap 3
  • You should be familiar with source control, database normalization, web security techniques, OOP, and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
